FGASA is proud to announce our attendance at Africa’s Travel Indaba 2025, taking place from 13–15 May at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban. We’ll be joining the South African Tourism Services Association (SATSA) stand to represent field guides and trackers as key contributors to Africa’s tourism success story.

Africa’s Travel Indaba is one of the largest tourism marketing events on the African continent, showcasing the rich diversity of travel products and destinations. The event draws together thousands of industry professionals, including buyers, travel media, government representatives, and tourism stakeholders from across the globe.

As the professional body for field guides and trackers, FGASA is committed to promoting the highest standards of guiding professionalism, safety, and ethics. Safari guides play a crucial role in shaping a guest’s African travel experience—often turning a once-in-a-lifetime safari into a truly transformative encounter with nature.

Our presence at Indaba offers an important opportunity to connect with operators, employers, and international buyers who recognise the value of professional guiding. We’ll be engaging with partners to raise awareness of FGASA’s professional certifications, structured pathways for career enhancement, and role in professionalising the guiding industry.

We believe that guests visiting Africa for their dream safari holiday deserve nothing less than recognised, professional, passionate, and knowledgeable guides.

Come visit us at the SATSA stand to learn more about our work and how we’re shaping the future of guiding in Africa.
