What is a Delivery Partner?
The Field Guides Association of southern Africa (FGASA) is an accredited and leading Training Provider authorised by the Culture, Art, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA – Reg. no: 613/P/000004/2004). FGASA has working relationships with both of these organisations to ensure high-quality tourist guide training and education is delivered to all those who wish to pursue careers in guiding, hospitality, and tourism. These guiding qualifications include safari (field) guiding, marine guiding, culture guiding and tourist guiding.
FGASA is authorised to outsource the educational materials and training to endorsed third-party organisations known as Training Delivery Partners. These Training Delivery Partners adhere to the FGASA standards and deliver high-quality training to individuals through various courses and training programmes. The Training Delivery Partners offer a wide variety of courses to suit the needs of anyone wanting to enter into the tourism and hospitality industries. These courses come in the form of online courses, short practical courses and longer practical courses aimed at giving both theoretical, and practical training as well as workplace placements for on-the-job practical experience.
FGASA has many endorsed Training Delivery Partners across southern Africa, each one offers a unique training experience but all of them are geared towards developing guides to the highest standard.
