FGASA is pleased to share that Justine, the Guide Registrar from the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Authority (MTPA), will be visiting Hoedspruit in October to facilitate guide registrations and deliver guide cards for collection.

Documentation required for new registrations:

  • Certified copy of your CATHSSETA certificate (email cathsseta@fgasa.org.za to confirm if yours is ready)
  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Certified copy of your Driver’s License
  • Certified copy of your First Aid certificate
  • Certified copy of your FGASA certificate
  • FGASA competency letter
  • 1 x Colour passport photo
  • Registration fee of R240 (EFT only)

Please note: If you are currently registered with a tourism authority other than the MTPA, you will only be able to register once your existing guide card has expired. Ensure you have all required documents and the registration fee available on the day, otherwise registration cannot be completed.
