π£ Guide Registration with the National Registrar β Mpumalanga
Attention all safari guides!
The Tourism Guide Registrar from the Mpumalanga Tourism & Parks Agency (MTPA), Justine, will be in Hoedspruit for two days to register guides on behalf of the National Department of Tourism β a legal requirement for anyone guiding in South Africa.

πΉ Tuesday, 5 August β FGASA Office (at the Farm House)
π From 10:00am
πΉ Wednesday, 6 August β EcoTraining Office (at Korongo House)
π From 9:30am
Whether you’re registering for the first time or renewing your tourist guide card, make sure you donβt miss this opportunity.
β Please bring the following:
* Certified copy CATHSSETA certificate (or screenshot off the CATHSSETA system sent by your training provider)
* Certified copy of your FGASA certificate and competency letter (if applicable)
* 1 x colour passport photo
* Certified copy of your ID (not older than 3 months)
* Certified copy of your driver’s license
* Certified copy of your valid First Aid certificate

Registration/renewal fee (banking details will be available on the day). Please note that if you are currently registered as a guide in a different province you will not be able to register with MTPA unless your card has expired!
Justine will also be bringing any outstanding Tourist Guide cards and Badges.
