FGASA is proud and excited to announce that Greg Jarvis and Richard Sheahan were nominated and elected as the newest regional representatives for Gauteng. Both Greg and Richard are exceptional in their guiding, their knowledge and their commitment to upholding FGASA’s standards of excellence while uplifting the guiding communities around them.
As regional representatives, Greg and Richard, will play a key role in liking FGASA as a professional body to its members and vice versa. They will support effective communication between FGASA members within the Gauteng region and the association. They will be actively involved in attending and organising various regional meetings and events for members in Gauteng. They will participate in FGASA board discussions and represent the professional interests of the members within their region ensuring that there is active participation of our members in board meetings through the region representatives. They will also play a role in organising professional development opportunities for the guides in Gauteng.
