DESCRIPTION:Attention all safari guides!\n\nThe Tourism Guide Registrar from the Mpumalanga Tourism & Parks Agency (MTPA)\, Justine\, will be in Hoedspruit for two days to register guides on behalf of the National Department of Tourism – a legal requirement for anyone guiding in South Africa.\n\n📍 Dates & Locations:\n🔹 Tuesday\, 5 August – FGASA Office (at the Farm House)\n🕖 From 10:00am\n🔹 Wednesday\, 6 August – EcoTraining Office (at Korongo House)\n🕗 From 9:30am\n\nWhether you’re registering for the first time or renewing your tourist guide card\, make sure you don’t miss this opportunity.\n\n✅ Please bring the following:\n\n* Certified copy CATHSSETA certificate (or screenshot off the CATHSSETA system sent by your training provider)\n* Certified copy of your FGASA certificate and competency letter (if applicable)\n* 1 x colour passport photo\n* Certified copy of your ID (not older than 3 months)\n* Certified copy of your driver’s license\n* Certified copy of your valid First Aid certificate\n\nIf you are registering\, please complete the guide registration form before arriving.\n\nDownload the registration form here\n\nRegistration/renewal fee (banking details will be available on the day). Please note that if you are currently registered as a guide in a different province you will not be able to register with MTPA unless your card has expired!\n\nJustine will also be bringing any outstanding Tourist Guide cards and Badges.\n\nLet’s ensure you’re legally registered and compliant.
